17 June -Certificates were awarded to the participants of Workshop for Leading Teachers on Child Friendly Active Learning in a ceremony held at the Kaafu Atoll Education Centre on the 25th of this month. The five day workshop was held for the leading teachers of Meemu, Vaavu, Kaafu, Alif Alif and Alif Dhaal atoll. This workshop is one of a series of workshops which are being conducted under the Professional Development program of Centre for Continuing Education in the atolls.

27th June -Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Abdullah Nazeer left Male’ on Friday the 26th to attend the 30th Session of the Executive Council of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
