This committee evaluates the bids from various sources which are sent to the Ministry of Education in response to the announcements from the ministry to find reliable and appropriate parties and choose a party in a fair and just manner. Announcements of this nature have to be made to the public when the price or the expenses are liable to be higher than Mrf. 10,000 (ten thousand).

a. Evaluate the bids, discuss it among the committee members and choose the best bidder in terms of price and quality.

b. To have a fair and just system in evaluating bids.

c. Transparency in their decisions.

d. In case of changes in their decisions, review and then decide again.

e. Sign the documentation of the final decision of the committee.

f. Provide information to any parties in case it is required in regard to the bids.

g. To supervise and oversee that the work is done to the requirements of the plan and the bid.

h. To maintain the professional ethics of the ‘Bid evaluation committee’.
