A Life-Skills session conducted for Male’ Zone School Heads

A Life-Skills session was conducted yesterday for the Heads of the schools in the Male’ zone. The sessions were organized by the Educational Development Centre under the Staff Development Programme.

The session which continued for two hours highlighted on facing and solving a number of personal, social and health education issues. The discussion also included the responsibilities of teachers who teach in the schools.

Mrs. Sylvia Hood from the United Kingdom, who is in Maldives on a vacation conducted the sessions in a very enjoyable and lively atmosphere. Mrs. Hood had also taken sessions in some schools in Male’ and in the atolls.

Some senior officials from the Ministry of Education also participated in this session.
