A review meeting was held yesterday to determine how much work had been conducted within the past 6 months to fulfill the educational policies in the MDP coalition manifesto. School heads from the entire Male’ zone schools and the section heads from the Ministry of Education participated in this meeting held at Ghiyasuddin School yesterday.

The participants of the meeting were divided into small groups and then a presentation was made from each group which to show the achievements of the past 6 months and what needs to be done and how to move ahead to complete the needed issues of this sector. School Heads were also given the chance to present their ideas on how the Ministry should plan the work in order to make the schools more efficient in their work.

Minister of Education Dr. Mustafa Lutfi addressed the gathering after the participants’ presentations were done. In his short speech the Minister said that he would follow the ideas presented by the School Heads, when continuing with his work in the Ministry. The Minister also said that the aim of the education sector should always be to work for the betterment of the students and to fulfill their needs.

The meeting was a very productive meeting.
