Five scholarships have been awarded to Maldives from the Russian Federation, through the Ministry of Education.

The courses given were from different disciples. The courses include two courses for the health sector and courses in jurisprudence and politology. This scholarship offer includes two and four year courses. Four year courses are the Bachelors degree courses. The candidates who are selected for these courses have to study the Russian language for one year.

Selection for these courses will be conducted by the Ministry of Human Resources, Youth and Sports in collaboration with the concerning Russian authorities.
