Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Abdullah Nazeer left Male’ on Friday the 26th to attend the 30th Session of the Executive Council of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO). This Conference will be held in Tunis, the capital of the Tunisian Republic from the 27th to the 30th of this month. Dr. Abdullah Nazeer will also be representing Maldives at the 10th Session of the General Conference which will be held from the 2nd to the 4th of July in the same capital city.

The main aim of ISESCO is to find ways of betterment in the educational, scientific and technological areas of the member nations. Maldives became a member of ISESCO in 1982.

Dr. Abdullah Nazeer will be returning to Male’ on the 6th of July.
