A workshop was conducted for the PD Coordinators of the North Province from 4th to 6th of March 2010. The workshop which was held at the Noonu Atoll TRC aimed at directing the Coordinators as to how professional development workshops can be conducted in the most successful way.

The workshop was attended by 43 school heads and 47 teachers who would be taking up the responsibilities of PD Coordinators.
Deputy State Minister of the North Province Mr. Mohamed Faheem inaugurated the workshop which is funded by the government. Deputy Director General of the Centre for Continuing Education Mr. Adam Shareef also took some sessions in the workshop which is facilitated and conducted by CCE.

Sessions in the workshop included how PD workshops can be arranged, conducted and also the PD policy was also discussed at the workshop.
